The release of the Nine Essentials (2nd Edition) was one of many NAPDS 2021 conference highlights! To delve deeper into the Nine Essentials (2nd Edition), NAPDS has organized a professional development series: The Year of the Nine Essentials. The purpose of this series of virtual sessions is to engage members in an exploration of the revisions and discussions of implications for practice. Each session will be led by a facilitator who will discuss the revised essential by highlighting the rationale behind the change.  Time will be allotted for questions and discussion regarding the impact of the essential.

The next virtual chat exploring Essential 7: Shared Governance Structures is just around the corner! Use THIS LINK to register and join us on Thursday, October  14th at 4:00 EST. These events are FREE for members, and $20 for non-members.

What is a CoffeeEDU?

CoffeeEDUs are 60-minute, informal professional learning opportunities bringing together educators from across roles and disciplines to share teaching practices. CoffeeEDUs are participant-driven, and the topics of discussion emerge from the participants’ needs and interests.
